Indonesian Educator As UNESCO Administrative Group Member

Indonesian educator, Professor Dr. Arief Rachman, was elected as a member of the Administrative Group on International Education Council of the UN Agency for Education and Cultural Affairs (IBE-UNESCO) for a term of two years. The election took place at the 59th Session of the IBE-UNESCO, held in Geneva, Switzerland, 27-29 January 2010.

Indonesia´s #1 World Cube Champion

We’ve got some good news. On Jan 30-31, 2010, Indonesia held Rubik’s Jakarta Open for 2010. In that event, 3 Indonesians were crowned as among the 15 best world cube champions. They are M. Iril Khaerul Anam ( solved cube in 24 minutes 10 seconds), Aldo Feandri (solved cube at 37 minutes 57 seconds) and Wicaksono Adi (solved cube at 42 minutes 41 seconds). They played the cube with the eyes covered or at the game for 5×5 blindfolded category.
